You Can Afford Principia College
We believe strongly that no one should be denied a Principia College degree for financial reasons. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and friends, that’s a philosophy we’ve been able to put into practice. Their financial support has allowed us to keep our tuition well below that of other small liberal arts colleges and offer one of the most generous scholarship and aid programs in the country. As a result, Principia College ranks among the top twenty liberal arts colleges for graduating students with low debt, according to US News & World Report.
Unlike schools processing thousands of applications, Principia is in the enviable position of being able to address each student’s needs individually. We don’t have to rely on formulas and models alone but can tailor our aid packages for each family. Approximately 90 percent of our students receive some kind of financial aid, with an average package of just over $23,800 per year.
